3-Day Best Serengeti Safari from Zanzibar Island

Start your adventure with an early morning transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Serengeti National Park. As you soar over the mainland, enjoy breathtaking aerial views of Tanzania’s coast, forests, and savannah. Upon landing at the Serengeti airstrip, your driver-guide will welcome you and begin your first game drive through the vast plains of the park. Depending on the season, you may witness parts of the Great Migration, with massive herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles crossing the landscape, closely followed by lions, hyenas, and crocodiles. After a picnic lunch in the wild, continue exploring until late afternoon. Arrive at your lodge or luxury tented camp, freshen up, and enjoy dinner under the African night sky.

On this day, you'll spend a full day on a game drive in Serengeti National Park. You will continue to explore the park with the help of your guide to spot animals, including Africa's Big Five. Serengeti is located in northern Tanzania and is a World Heritage Site occupying an area of around 15,000 square kilometers. It has over 2 million herbivores, 4000 lions, 1000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and some 500 bird species. This area is with massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebras during the dry season. However, the North Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife including lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, and the rare Oribi antelopes.
