FAQ · Before you go

Visas, tipping, timing, and how the price works.

The questions people ask before they put dates in a form. Plain answers from the people who run the trips.

Booking

How do I request a listed package?

Open its itinerary, review the published from-price and what is included, then send a package request with your details and preferred date. The form does not take card payment.

How are package prices shown?

Every from-price is per person in USD and is the published MansourSafaris price for that itinerary. Final details are confirmed by the team when you book.

Can I build a route that is not listed?

Yes. Use the custom trip planner to select destinations, comfort, travel timing, party size, and experiences. MansourSafaris will confirm a custom quote by email or WhatsApp. No card is charged.

On the ground

Can I see the Big Five?

Tanzania is one of the few countries where you can. Ngorongoro Crater is the most reliable single day. Serengeti and Tarangire cover the rest. Rhino is the hard one. The crater is your best chance.

What is Serval Wildlife?

A private sanctuary in Siha, not a national park. Government-owned animals, many of them orphans, prepared for release with TAWA. A conservation setting, visited with a guide.

Practical

What is not included?

Check the exclusions on your chosen package page. International flights, extra accommodation before or after the tour, tips, personal items, and visa fees are commonly excluded.

What should I know about health and entry requirements?

Visa, vaccination, and malaria advice depends on your nationality and travel history. Check official Tanzania entry guidance and speak with a travel-health professional before departure.

What is the safari tipping guideline?

Package exclusions give a guideline of US$10 per person per day for the guide and crew. Confirm current expectations with MansourSafaris when booking.

Kilimanjaro

Which Kilimanjaro routes are listed?

The current route packages are: 7-Day Marangu Route (Kilimanjaro) (7 days); 8-day Rongai Route (Kilimanjaro) (8 days); Machame Route (Kilimanjaro) (9 days); 10 Days Lemosho Route (Kilimanjaro) (10 days); 11 Days Northern Circuit (Kilimanjaro) (11 days). Open a route page for its day-by-day itinerary, inclusions, exclusions, and from-price.

Can I climb without a guide?

No. Kilimanjaro National Park requires a licensed guide; the guide is part of the climbing permit.

What is included on a climb?

Inclusions vary by route. Open the climb package page to review its mountain equipment, meals, fees, accommodation, and exclusions.
