Who is responsible
The data controller is MansourSafaris, a Tanzania safari operator based in Arusha, Tanzania.
For privacy questions write toenquiries@mansoursafaris.com, or use the contact form. We aim to reply within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity (for example by matching the email address used on the enquiry) before we disclose or delete records.
What we collect and why
When you submit the contact form, a package request, or the custom trip planner, we receive the details you enter: name, email address, phone number, country of residence, travel timing, party size (adults 16+, children 6 to 15, children under 6), destinations, comfort and budget bands, and anything you write in the message field. We use this only to answer the enquiry, prepare an itinerary and quote, and, if you book, to arrange the trip.
No payment card details are collected anywhere on this website. Booking and payment, if you proceed, are agreed with you separately by email.
The person sending the enquiry must be 18 or over. Ages of travelling children are supplied by that adult and are used only to price and plan the trip (park fees, room sharing, and suitable activities).
Processors and international transfers
We use these processors to run the website and deliver enquiries:
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, security (including optional bot protection). Traffic is handled on Cloudflare’s global network.
- Resend — transactional email that delivers your enquiry to our team, when that delivery route is configured.
- Formspree — an alternative enquiry-delivery provider, used only if we have configured it (including as a backup when email delivery fails).
These processors may handle data outside Tanzania. We use them only to operate this website and to receive your enquiry. We do not sell your data. Details are shared with lodges, parks and transport partners only once a booking is confirmed and the trip requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for 24 months unless a booking follows, in which case we keep what is needed to run the trip and meet accounting and legal duties. Server and security logs are short-lived (typically days, not months) and are used to keep the site reliable and to investigate abuse.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no advertising cookies and no non-essential cookies. Session storage in your browser may remember an unfinished form on this device until you send it or clear the browser; that copy never leaves your device.
We do not run a third-party analytics script unless Cloudflare Web Analytics is switched on in our hosting configuration. If it is, it is cookieless and counts page views only.
Your rights
You may ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to our using it for the enquiry. Write toenquiries@mansoursafaris.com. We respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with Tanzania’s Personal Data Protection Commission.
